MAR-FLEX 5000™ Waterproofing

MAR-FLEX 5000™ Waterproofing is a tested and proven membrane that can be applied over almost any clean, dry, sound substrate. Its permanent elasticity allows it to move with the structure. MAR-FLEX 5000 will not become brittle, evaporate, lose its flexibility, or lose its waterproofing ability. It resists freeze-thaw cycles and testing shows that MAR-FLEX 5000 outlasts conventional protection method. MAR-FLEX 5000 is available in both solvent based and water based.

MAR-FLEX 5000 is recommended for waterproofing basement walls of poured concrete or unit masonry construction.

Code Compliance
MAR-FLEX Systems, Inc. has received confirmation by the National Evaluation Service, Inc. (NES) at www.nateval.org that its MAR-FLEX 5000 complies with the foundation waterproofing related provisions of the three U.S. model building codes (BOCA National, ICBO Uniform, and SBCCI Standard) in addition to the new 2000 International Building and Residential Codes, with 2002 supplement, of the International Code Council. This confirmation, as evidenced in the NES Evaluations Report No. NER-658, provides guidance to code officials faced with approving the use of MAR-FLEX 5000 under these codes.

MAR-FLEX Quick Seal

MAR-FLEX Quick Seal is a seamless modified polymer waterproofing membrane. MAR-FLEX Quick Seal offers new homeowner an affordable alternative to upgrade from entry level waterproofing. It also provides them with peace of mind that their biggest investment is protected and they will have a safe and dry living environment. MAR-FLEX Quick Seal is available in both solvent based and water based.

Uses: MAR-FLEX Quick Seal is recommended for waterproofing poured concrete basement walls.
 

MAR-FLEX Cavity Wall & Foundation Coating

MAR-FLEX Cavity Wall & Foundation Coating is a heavy-bodied cutback asphalt protective coating used when dampproofing is required. It forms a smooth, tough, almost rubber-like film when dry. MAR-FLEX Cavity Wall & Foundation Coating has moderately good resistance to temperature changes, is flexible at low temperatures, has excellent weatherability and resists water penetration.

The durable film bonds to most clean, dry and firm surfaces. All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, sound; free from oil, grease, rust, scale, loose paint and dirt.

Compatible with MAR-FLEX Drainage and Insulation Boards

MAR-FLEX Cavity Wall & Foundation Coating is recommended for dampproofing below grade, vertical basement walls of poured concrete or unit masonry construction. It serves as a vapor retarder on the exterior face of the interior walls of above- grade exterior masonry cavity walls. It excels as a utility coating on posts, pilings and other metal surfaces set into the ground.
 

Styrofoam Perimate™

Styrofoam Perimate™ is an ASTM C-578 Type IV extruded polystyrene foam board, meeting insulation and drainage requirements in the commercial and residential building foundation market. A patented groove network in the exposed side of the board efficiently channels water down to the footing drain/weep tile even at high soil pressure.

Combing high R-Value, drainage and protection into one product reduces installation cost significantly. The shiplapped edges provide for a tight fit of adjacent boards and insures easy installation.

Mar-flex Geo-Mat™ Plus

Mar-flex Geo-Mat Plus is a high-density polyethylene roll with an attached polypropylene geotextile mat. It is placed with the polyethylene side against the waterproofing membrane, allowing the filter mat to protect against backfill soil sediment and obstructions.
